Summary

The Low Voltage Wiring Technician position will be proficient in the installation of low voltage wiring systems. This position will play an integral role in our company’s mission to provide “world class” customer service to the healthcare and related facilities that we serve. The successful candidate will fulfill the following list that includes but is not limited to:

Responsibilities

Assists with all phases of low voltage wiring installations
Perform tasks necessary for conduit installation including bending and fitting
Demonstrate industry specific product knowledge and application skills
Demonstrate knowledge of industry specific, current NFPA 99 code, and AIA design standards
Use tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, cordless and corded power tools, and wire strippers
Consult with engineers, engineering technicians, line installers and repairers, or industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers when performing installations
Organize and complete flexible work schedule to meet the needs of our customers
Perform travel to and from projects in assigned service area. Some overnight travel may be required
Maintain high standards of professionalism in attitudes and communication with coworkers, vendors, and customers
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experience in low voltage and/or electrical
Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
Strong organizational, quantitative, and problem solving skills
Strong communication, Interpersonal skills
Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively
Eagerness to learn and listen carefully
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
